CoreMamba Memory privacy policy

Scope and purpose

This policy covers the CoreMamba Memory browser extension and its connection to CoreMamba on the same computer. During user-initiated memory optimization on Windows 11, the extension discards eligible inactive tabs. Returning to a discarded tab reloads its page.

Account, licensing, payment and optional telemetry features in the CoreMamba desktop application are separate from this extension’s data flow. This is not a general privacy policy for every desktop feature.

Information processed only inside the browser

The extension checks tab addresses, last access times, active or pinned status, and page and frame navigation. After you grant site access, it checks for media, calls, recording, editing and form changes locally. This information is used only to decide whether a tab is eligible for optimization and to protect ongoing work.

Form checks may compare a field’s current value with its initial value locally. Fields may contain personal, authentication, financial, health, communication or location information. The extension does not classify this content, create records of the values, or send them to the desktop application or a server. It uses only the result indicating whether a change occurred. It does not use GPS or a geolocation API.

No central copy of page content, tab addresses or form values is retained. The extension does not run in private browsing mode.

Local storage and the desktop connection

The optimization preference and always-protected domains are stored in the browser profile’s local extension storage. They are not synchronized with your browser account. Temporary page eligibility state is held in memory; a random connection identifier is held in browser session storage. No persistent device or user identifier is created.

Native Messaging connects only to the com.coremamba.memory host on the same computer. It shares temporary connection and request identifiers, operation counts and status codes. Site addresses, the exclusion list and page or form content do not cross this connection.

The extension has no advertising, analytics or external-server data transmission feature. Browser store downloads and updates are handled by the browser provider.

Permissions and your control

Site access is requested after a user click and can be revoked in browser settings. It enables local protection code. Native Messaging is needed for the local desktop connection; storage for preferences and temporary session state; scripting for protection checks; and webNavigation for protecting pages that changed or were not fully observed.

You can disable optimization and edit protected domains in the extension. Clear its local storage or uninstall the extension to remove local preferences. You can disable or remove it from the browser’s Extensions page. Tab optimization does not run without the required permissions and desktop connection.

Limited use and sharing

In accordance with the Limited Use requirements of the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, CoreMamba Memory uses the information it processes only for the disclosed tab optimization and protection purpose. This information is not sold or used or transferred for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or unrelated purposes.

Page and form content does not reach the developer and is not read by the developer or support staff. When voluntarily emailing support, do not include passwords, payment details or private page content.
